For over a century, "Legacy" auction houses have operated on an opaque fee model where sellers and buyers are often burdened with combined commissions and markups exceeding 54% (averaging 27% from the seller and 27% from the buyer). Auction House International is ending this era by introducing a 0% Seller Commission model, coupled with a lean, transparent 10% Success Premium paid exclusively by the winning bidder.
THE 44% ARBITRAGE
The AHI model effectively returns an average of 44% more equity to the transaction compared to traditional competitors. By eliminating seller-side commissions, marketing retainers, and administrative surcharges, AHI ensures that the seller retains 100% of the hammer price.
